Ah it’s the end of November which basically means it’s Christmas now right?! November was a quiet month with the second lockdown in England so I don’t actually have much to talk about. I’ve just been feeling pretty festive and trying to look forward to Christmas. My month has just consisted of going out to work and coming home though! Here’s how November went.

It’s been a strange month, especially towards the end as in normal circumstances it’s when we’d start having festive days out and I’m missing that so much. Especially when things come up on my Timehop. They’re all part of what makes me love Christmas so much normally so trying to get in the Christmas spirit without all of that has been odd. I’m determined to still be festive though!
1. We didn’t do much for Bonfire Night, which by the way feels so long ago now! But we did have a nice cosy night with some sparklers and we toasted some marshmallows which was nice.
2. I pretty much finished off all of my Christmas shopping in November, I just have a few little bits left to buy. I’ve also ended up treating myself to quite a lot of things too. You know, a gift from me to me!
3. Some of my favourite things I’ve bought myself are some super cute candles from Bibbidi Bobbidi Candle and some lovely earrings from AliceXLizzy. If you want to see what small businesses I’ve been supporting this Christmas then check out this post.
4. November was a mad rush to get all of my Blogmas content finished off. I have 20 posts going live in December and I’m so excited to share all of my festive content with you. I hope you love it as much as I do. If you want to see what posts I have planned then I’ve shared my Blogmas schedule.
5. I tried my best to get the Christmas decorations up in November but my fiancé just wouldn’t have it! I’ve been picking up a few festive bits for the house though from Aldi of all places and I love our new cushions and door mat. We’ve also been picking up some Christmas food and drink too because let’s be honest they’re one of the best things about Christmas!
6. I started watching The Crown this month. I’ve been curious for a while but didn’t think it would be my sort of thing at all. I finally caved though and I am absolutely loving it. It’s so, so good!
So that was November, a quiet one to say the least and definitely a lot different to previous years. I can’t wait for December though when the full on festivities can start! We’re putting the decorations up at the end of this week and well as doing a bit of Christmas shopping and hopefully buying a few more Christmas bits for around the house. I know December is going to be a lot different to how it usually is but I’m still really looking forward to it.
How was your November? Let me know in the comments!

It’s great to see that you are focusing on the things that make you happy. Everything is different this year and we have all had to give up so much so anything we can do to keep some semblance of normal is a good thing. Hope you continue to have a great rest of your year.
Thank you, I hope you do too.
Thanks for sharing your November, like the look of the candle 🙂
