Ok, just how are we now in the last month of the year already? I’ve been so excited for Christmas but I totally do not feel prepared for it now December is here. Maybe because I haven’t actually got any of the December content finished that I’d planned out for the blog. Ooops. I’ve also been ill with a super cold that everyone seems to be getting so my festive cheer has been lacking a little much to my own disappointment. I’m still poorly now but I think I’m over the worst of it so hopefully I can begin to enjoy my favourite time of year now. Anyway, let’s jump back and take a look at November shall we?!

Ok so there wasn’t actually a lot going on in November which is kind of lucky really as if you’ve been reading these lists for the last couple of months you’ll know we’ve been renovating our kitchen, so that took priority in order to get it finished. More on that soon though! We also always end up been really busy in December so it’s nice to have a bit of a lull before the festive craziness starts. Work has been crazy and obviously as I’ve mentioned, I’ve been ill so there’s nothing big or exciting to report for November. It’s still nice to look back at all the small, good things from the month though. So here goes.
1. We’ll start with the kitchen, because for such a small room it’s taken over our lives and these Happy Lists for the last few months. I’m happy to report we are all done though (aside from one or two teeny tiny jobs left). I couldn’t be happier with our kitchen now. It’s gone from a room I despised to one I absolutely adore. It feels so homely and cosy now and I’m so glad it’s all finished for Christmas. It means we can get the house back in order now and that I can have the Christmassy kitchen I’ve always dreamed of! I’ve bought so many cute Christmas bits for the kitchen and I can’t wait to set it all up.
2. Speaking of buying Christmas bits, I cannot control myself when it comes to Aldi’s Christmas things this year. I’ve bought so much, from candles to a doormat and some cute, festive light-up cones for the breakfast bar. I think I come away with a middle aisle special every time we go in! Oh and it’s not just Christmas bits, I of course had to indulge during their most recent beauty event too. I’m a big fan of Aldi’s beauty events but this one absolutely blew up on social media thanks to the banging dupes they brought out. I picked up three things (the primer, foundation and lip liner you can see above) and I can confirm they’re pretty good.
3. November seemed to be photoshoot month for our cats because I have loads of photos of them. That’s thanks to my husband though who always insists the cats aren’t allowed in the office room but then conducted a photoshoot with them both in there having the time of their lives. There are some very cute photos of them though that definitely cheered me up when I was receiving them whilst at work!
4. You know my nails always have to feature these days and November I went for this gorgeous green set as a little nod to Christmas without fully committing to anything in-you-face festive. They were absolutely gorgeous and I’ll definitely be doing green nails again because I loved them way more than I thought I would. I am very excited for a couple of Christmas designs in December though.
5. We had a rare Saturday night out. I’m very much a homebody and I enjoy a cosy night in but sometimes it’s nice to get dressed up, do some top notch makeup and have a night out. We’d originally planned to go to a gin and rum festival but then all the busses changed so we scrapped that idea and just went out locally but we had sooo much fun.
So that was November. I know I’ve already said it but I honestly can’t believe we’re at the end of the year. 2022 has just absolutely flown by. I had a little look at November 2021’s Happy List while writing this and the stuff on there does not seem like it happened a year ago. I’m fully ready to feel better now and enjoy December, the run up to Christmas is just my favourite thing ever and I am so, so ready to enjoy the festivities this year.
What did you get up to in November? Let me know in the comments!

I got to go to Disney!
But I lost track of literally everything else lololol.
I need to pop into Aldi’s to have a look at their Christmas! I love Home Bargains at this time of year for their Christmas stuff! x

Aldi was seriously dangerous for my bank account at Christmas!
