Halloween is just around the corner and I for one am very excited about that! I absolutely love autumn and Halloween so when spooky stuff starts appearing in the shops then it’s time to get in that cosy autumn mood. I went on my annual spooky shopping trip recently as well as making a Halloween order from Shein. So here’s some of the Halloween stuff you can expect to find in U.K. shops right now.

Here in the U.K. we’re still a long way off celebrating Halloween like our they do in America but I’ve definitely noticed over recent years that U.K. shops are getting a little better with Halloween stock. On our annual spooky shop we always tend to visit the same stores as we know they’ll be good. TK Maxx, The Range, Poundland, Home Bargains and B&M are the best places to visit to get your Halloween fix. It’s nice to see that we’re now getting a lot more home decor items too that go beyond the spooky/horror items. We’re now seeing a lot more cosy autumn and Halloween items now like cushions, doormats, pumpkin ornaments and bedding. I am definitely here for all the cosy items.
On this years spooky shopping trip I picked up things from Poundland, Home Bargains, TK Maxx and The Range so here’s what I got.

The Range
So our local store only had a small selection of items but I actually managed to pick up 3 things. I know from following other autumn Instagram accounts that they’ve had some other autumnal homeware bits in that weren’t in my store too. I’m super happy that I picked up the Halloween cushion as that was the main thing I was looking for. I also picked up some Halloween tape to put along our fence and a hanging ‘Happy Halloween’ sign for in our porch.
Poundland
I practically jumped for joy when I saw that Poundland had Halloween mugs in. I picked up a cauldron one and a pumpkin one. Quite a few places seem to be doing the pumpkin style mugs this year but I only saw them in Poundland. For £1 I think they’re both really cute and decent quality too.
Home Bargains
The Halloween offering in my local Home Bargains wasn’t great to be honest, there was a lot of costumes and not much else. I am a fan of the candles in Home Bargains though and this year they seemed to have two new Halloween offerings. I went for the Pumpkin Chai one which I cannot wait to burn.
TK Maxx
TK Maxx is usually one of the first places to start getting Halloween things out. My local TK Maxx just moved into a new, bigger plot so there actually wasn’t a lot out. I don’t think they wanted to start again with the Halloween branding when they’ll be moving on to Christmas soon. One thing they did have a lot of though was autumn and Halloween candles. I was very good and only picked up one though. Not only does it smell amazing but I love the ghost design on the lid.
Not content with buying Halloween homeware this year I also placed a little order on Shein for some autumn and Halloween bits. I love everything that I got and filmed a little Shein haul over on Youtube. It includes the cutest Halloween doormat as well as a couple of autumn outfits and some amazing Halloween socks!
So that was my 2021 Halloween U.K. haul. I’m very pleased with everything I got this year and even more pleased that here in the U.K. Halloween seem to be getting bigger!
Have you picked up any Halloween bits this year? What’s your favourite thing from my haul? Let me know in the comments!

I know, they look pretty good for Poundland!
How cute are those little Halloween Mugs, I love the cauldron one! I’m yet to pick up any halloween home decor this year, but I’ve seen so many cute home decor bits online which I’m tempted to pick up!
The mugs are definitely my favourite things!
It so nice to see that Halloween is getting bigger over the years, just like in the US. I always dreamed that I lived somewhere like in Hocus Pocus haha.
That would be the absolute dream!
The mugs are so cute (and cheap!), I’ve been looking for novelty mugs but they’re so hard to come by! Also, that pillow is also cute, love that it looks lush but also simple and classic.
Thank you! I was really pleased with the mugs.
I’m not massively into Halloween but I’ve been eyeing up Poundland’s selection! It’s been very hard to resist and next time I pass by, I might have to buy a garland or something x
Poundland have done quite good with Halloween items this year.
Halloween is my favourite time of the year, without question. Unfortunately, this year, we’re moving right around Halloween itself. This has really prevented me from embracing it the way that I usually would. We often have decorations EVERYWHERE and make quite the display for our neighbours. I am, however, taking this time to brainstorm and pick up some new items so that I can get right back into it at our new house next year!
Oh I bet your house looks amazing at Halloween. Good luck with the move!
Thank you! I’m very excited too.
