Christmas

What we got for Christmas 2020

28 December 2020 Comments : 24

So Christmas is over, but the festive period still continues thankfully. I just love this time of year so much. Today I’m sharing a few of the things we were lucky enough to get for Christmas. I absolutely love these types of posts when other people do them!

I’ll start with the usual disclaimer for this kind of post, I know they’re not everyone’s cup of tea but I personally love them! I’m so nosy that these kinds of posts are right up my street and I don’t see it as bragging or showing off but a nice way to share with other nosy folk what interesting gifts you received! Josh and I are of course extremely grateful for the gifts we received. I also haven’t included every single gift we received from family as that would be a bit excessive especially as we got a lot of little bits. But I will be talking about most of the things we received.

Presents from Josh (to me)

There was certainly a theme this year. The Child. And I am not complaining. Everyone needs this cutie in their life to round off 2020. Josh got me The Child Funko Pop which I love because I actually ordered this months back and the company never sent it so I had to cancel my order. I also got a bunch of cute pins, a proper Disney one and then some from Primark. Actually, talking of pins I got two mystery boxes of The Haunted Mansion pins and was lucky enough to get four different pins! You can’t see them very well here but they’re really good. Back to The Child, Josh also got me a mug and notebook set then what I think has been the number one gift this Christmas, The Child plush. I’ve seen so many people with this gift and I’m not surprised at all because he’s just so bloody cute. I absolutely love him!

My non The Child gifts included a Himalayan salt lamp wax melt burner, some Baileys, the Disney Figment ears which were another big hit because Figment is my favourite and the cutest origami fox necklace. I love foxes and this necklace is so dainty and cute. I’ve included a photo of it on its own above so you can see it properly.

Presents from me (to Josh)

Josh ended up with a lot of Disney pins from me. I actually didn’t mean to get that many but we’re big pin collectors and I just kept finding really good ones I knew he’d like! I got him a couple of Goofy ones, a couple of Christmas themed ones and I managed to find the full set of 100 years of magic light up pins that were released in 2001. I also got The Child Disney key pin which is super cute!

Disney pins aside I also got him a book about Phantom Manor at Disneyland, two Star Wars Black Series figures and some light up gin. I also made up a goody bag packed with beers, gin cans and sweets.

Presents from family

I obviously haven’t included every single gift in this photo as it would be too excessive but we got some lovely gifts from family. Aside from money we got a lot of gin and my mum and her partner made us up a huge snack bag filled with crisps, biscuits, chocolates and more! Josh also got a pair of Airpods from his mum. I got a very snuggly new dressing gown and a onesie which are always Christmas essentials!

I was lucky enough to get lots of beauty goodies this year including some new makeup, Lush bath bombs and a Pixi set as well as some Origins face masks. I got the next two books in the Harry Potter Hufflepuff cover releases and some salted caramel hot chocolate for my Velvetiser.

I hope you enjoyed having a look at what we got for Christmas, once again we’re super grateful for everything we got from each other and our families.

If you’ve wrote a post like this, let me know in the comments so I can read it. If not then tell me what your favourite present was this year!

My favourite present this year was The Child (the one that you push his head and he makes little noises and movements — it may be the same as yours)! I love The Mandalorian so anything from that was good for me, haha! I love the pins you got!

Haha thanks for taking the time to write an unnecessary comment on a post that’s over two years old now. The views and engagement were very much appreciated!
