Happy List: November 2018

2 December 2018 Leave a Comment

So yeah I forgot to do a Happy List last month, oopps. It wasn’t intentional it just slipped my mind and by the time I remembered it seemed too late. Anyway I’m back now with Novembers Happy List. If you’re a regular reader than you’ll know that these lists haven’t actually been all that positive this year but in November I decided to stop worrying about all the things I can’t control as my favourite time of the year was approaching and there’s no way I was letting anything spoil that. I feel so much more positive and I’m beyond excited for December because it really is the most wonderful time of the year!

1. This year I discovered an amazing home fragrance company Emily Makes Boutique and I’ve been a huge fan of Emily’s wax melts since. As you can tell in my Christmas haul from EMB I think the products are amazing so imagine my excitement when Emily approached me this month and asked if I’d like to become a brand rep! I of course said yes and I should be receiving my first brand rep package in December. If you use my code ‘LAURENY.C’ at the checkout you’ll receive a freebie!
2. One day after work, we decided to go out on a short walk around our village and we witnessed one of the most beautiful sunsets I’ve ever seen forming. It really was amazing. The above photo was definitely peak prettiness for the sunset!
3. In September I started a new role at my place of work and in November I feel like I’ve really settled into it. For the first time in a few years I can say I actually enjoy my job and it’s a great feeling.
4. We ended up having an little impromptu bonfire get together. I mentioned in my Autumn ’18 post that we didn’t really have any bonfire night plans and were just going to do something at the weekend together. Well the week before bonfire night I ended up really poorly and didn’t leave the house for a week. I started to pick up at the weekend so my mum offered to come around with fireworks and hotdogs, it was just what I needed after being ill!
5. At the end of the month I headed out on the annual festive ladies day out with my mum and her friend. We went to Leeds Christmas market and had a lovely day.
