Happy List: December 2017

8 January 2018 Leave a Comment

December was a great month but it was always going to be what with so many fun things to do and Christmas. Writing and looking back at this in January is making me a little sad because I just want to relive the whole month again. So here are December’s highlights.
1. My dad and I went to Chatsworth House for the Christmas Market and Dickensian themed house tour. I wrote a whole blog post on how beautiful it was.
2. We decorated the house for Christmas and although this was our second Christmas living together it still excited me to go and get a real tree and have our own home to decorate.
3. I had a girls day at Leeds Christmas Market with my mum and her friend, we drank the best festive drinks, ate good food and it even snowed!
4. Josh and I celebrated 10 whole years together, we kept it quite relaxed as our anniversary is a week before Christmas and our break at 30 James Street Hotel earlier in the year was to celebrate. We relived our first date and went to the cinema followed by food at Frankie and Benny’.
5. I bought the most gorgeous new dress for Christmas Day and it made me feel super pretty.
6. We had the most relaxing Christmas ever. We’re lucky in that we both work in schools so we’ve had two whole weeks off together. Christmas Day was predominantly just Josh and I and it was great, no fuss, super relaxing and fun.
7. New Year was equally as relaxing. Me, Josh, the cats, plenty of party food and Take That’s greatest hits whilst playing beer pong!
8. I received so much Lush stuff for Christmas (and then got some more items in the sale). I love a good Lush bath so this should keep me going for a long time!

December, you were the best and everything I needed!
