Oh dear, I’m a little later than usual with my Happy List this month. Better late than never though, right?! I’m not even going to make an excuse, the plain and simple fact is I just need to get my butt in gear with blogging haha! Here are my monthly ramblings for March.

I mentioned this last month but I’m really struggling with blogging right now, there’s so much I love about blogging. Creating content I love, receiving lovely comments and yes, I’m not going to lie, the small amount of extra money I get each month is a lovely added bonus. But there’s a lot I’ve come to hate about blogging too and I just really need to find a balance that’s right for me and get back to finding enjoyment in it. That’s why I always try and do these monthly posts as they’re honestly my favourite thing to write.
So let’s take a look back at March!
1. Who else enjoyed that 5 minutes of glorious weather that we had?! I seriously thought spring had landed. But then it went and snowed and it’s been pretty miserable since haha. Those few days were good for the soul though and I was able to do one of my favourite things, sit in the garden and read. More of that soon please!
2. Speaking of spring it’s been so nice to see all the blossom blooming on the trees. I’m also very much here for daffodil season too. There’s something about those little yellow blooms that really brightens up the place and I’ve been enjoying having bunches of daffodils in our porch.
3. I’m not the only one that’s been enjoying the sunshine as my two fur babies love the sun. They’re indoor boys but we get a lot of sunshine in our living room and they just lay in it for hours! The warm weather means we get even more visits from the cat that isn’t ours too (the black cat sat outside above). Thomas has been visiting since we first moved in almost 6 years ago and he’s round pretty much every day but when the weathers good he spends hours sat out in the garden with me!
4. I decided to splurge a little on some Haunted Mansion merch in March. If you’ve been round here a while then you’ll know that I love Disney and The Haunted Mansion is one of my favourite attractions. I have quite the collected of merch going on. Somehow though I’d completely missed the Super7 figures being released. Luckily I found them on eBay and the price hadn’t been marked up so I snapped them up!
5. Moving back onto flowers Josh bought me the most stunning blue lilly’s. They were honestly such a beautiful colour. It’s not often he buys flowers but when he does, he picks the most stunning ones!
6. Finally March was birthday month for Josh. He’s really not into birthdays but I still like to make a fuss anyway haha. We went out for a lovely Indian meal though and he’s been rather enjoying his new Star Wars game I bought him!
What did you get up to in March? Let me know in the comments!

Aw I love this! I loved the warmer weather last month too (fingers crossed it returns soon, haha) and the cats are super cute. It’s adorable that Thomas has been visiting you that long! Thank you so much for sharing – and I hope you can turn things around with blogging too x
Thank you! I think I’m finally getting back into blogging. We love having Thomas visiting.
Oh your black cat looks so much like the one we had when we were kids. It’s been so lovely to see some warmer weather and blossom out on the trees
Blossom on the trees is one of my favourite things ever!
I love the spring flowers too! These beautiful purple ones bloomed in front of my school and I am trying to appreciate them 🙂
Appreciating little things like that is always nice!
That’s awesome, your march was full of fun and awesome moments. Hope this month is awesome as well!
Thank you!
I’ve loved seeing the trees and flowers blooming again too, I hope you have had a good April so far! x

It’s such a lovely time of year.
March was hard for me, I was recovering from Covid the month before and I’m still not at 100%. We did have a massive family dinner though and it was so lovely to all get together.

I hope you’re feeling much better.
It sounds like you had a good month. In March I started my course on children and young people’s mental health, so that was exciting! Thank you for sharing.

Oh congratulations! Good luck with your course.
Happy birthday to Josh! I’m not into birthday’s either tbh, although I love making a fuss of other people’s! You can’t go wrong with a good Indian meal! I loved the bit of warmer weather we had, nice to see it making a comeback this week!
I absolutely love making a fuss of people’s birthdays!
I live in Florida so I pretty much experience warm weather all year round and actually long for seasons like spring and fall. Hopefully the weather will warm up for you soon! Sounds like you had a lovely month. For myself, I treated myself to a spa day and that was definitely the highlight of March for me. Thank you for sharing!
You can’t beat a spa day! Sounds like you had a nice, relaxing time.
Good highlight. Sounds like you have a good month. I had a good month in March too. It was my birthday month. Thank you for sharing.
I’m glad you had a nice month!
The flowers were definitely a highlight of March for me too! I’m hoping the sunny weather comes back soon x
I definitely need some more sunny weather!
Sounds like you had an amazing march, I hope you have the best April too! My lil dachshund loves laying in the sun too, we put a blanket down right by the window and she’ll sit there for hours. Hopefully this weekend the weather will be beautiful too. Thank you for sharing this post, it really made me smile Xo
