We’re fully into autumn now and Halloween is quickly approaching too. If you like to add seasonal decor to your home then this is the post for you. I’ve got 10 beautiful autumn and Halloween DIY projects that you’ll love.

These are the perfect autumn craft projects if you’re looking to add some beautiful autumnal decor to your home. All the projects are easy to follow so even if you think you aren’t that creative you might just surprise yourself!
Reclaimed wood ‘fright’ sign

This is a super cheap and easy Halloween make that would be perfect for decorating your garden. It only uses a few items, most of which you’ll have anyway. And because you’ll be using reclaimed wood it’s environmentally friendly too.

Light up Halloween frame

This specific tutorial does require a vinyl cutting machine like a Cricut but if you don’t have one of those don’t worry. I think this could easily be adapted for a spooky print or collage and would look just as good!

Autumn candle holder

I love this one so much. I think I might have a go at making something like this. I just love the colours. If you have an old candle tray laying around, that would make this DIY project super cheap (and it’s already pretty cheap). It only uses a few simple materials too. If you’re feeling extra creative then why not follow this tutorial for making autumn spiced candles? That way you can place your own candles in your own holder!

No sew autumn fabric wreath

Like the look of fabric wreaths but not too handy with a sewing machine? Not a problem! This fabric wreath requires zero sewing. The beauty of this tutorial too is that you can switch of the fabric to match what ever theme you want so you could make an autumn one, a Halloween one or even a Christmas one!

Acorn and leaf sweater cushions

This tutorial not only looks super cute but upcycles any old jumpers you don’t wear anymore. Take all those autumn coloured jumpers and turn then into cute acorns and leaves. You have to have a sewing machine to make these either as you can sew them by hand if you want to.

Autumn leaf map wreath

Another super simple wreath but with a really unique twist as this one upcycles old maps. I think this one looks really effective and I love the looks of the old maps. The beauty of these is you can easily change up the colours dependent on the maps too. So you could use greens like leaves or go a bit more colourful with your design.

Rustic autumn centrepiece

This is a really beautiful centrepiece that’s perfect from family dinners with those cosy homecooked meals. Autumnal coloured leaves are always a hit with me and the addition of the pumpkin on top is super cute. The glitter leaves and pumpkins really make it a bit more jazzy too.

Origami leaf garland

How cute is this?! As much as I love autumnal colours I actually love that this hasn’t gone for the traditional reds and oranges (although you could use those colours if you wanted to). This is a really easy piece of autumnal decor that can fit around any colour scheme in your home.

Acrylic autumn decor

This tutorial uses acrylic pouring on a range of autumnal decorations and cut outs to make super pretty home decorations that look really effective. I love how you can marble several colours together to make your decorations look more unique.

Easy autumn leaf wreath

If you’re short on time, not very confident in your crafting skills or you’re looking for something easy to make with kids then this is the wreath tutorial for you. It only takes a few items to make and has minimal instructions. Basically it’s just gluing leaves and decorative items onto a ready made wreath! It looks really cute though!

I love all of these ideas. This is the first year that I have actually gone all out for Halloween. Usually we just don’t have the energy to put into it. This year… we NEEDED to be festive. Thanks for the great ideas!
