We took a lot of beautiful photos on our 2018 Florida holiday that are just sat on the computer so I thought I’d share them with you so they can be seen in all their glory and appreciated by everyone! There are a lot of photos so there’s going to be a fair few posts like this, I’m going to aim to do one a week until I’m out of photos to share! I’ll be doing one park at a time and today I’m on the second part of Epcot. Hope you enjoy this series.
Epcot is our favourite Disney park. We just love everything about it. When we first went to Disney World in 2015 we were prepared to not really enjoy it, Josh had been to Disney World a lot when he was younger and said he didn’t really enjoy Epcot and seen as I’d never been to WDW I just went off what Josh said so we were both pleasantly surprised to find out just how much we loved the park.
Would you just look at how beautiful Spaceship Earth looks reflected in the water?! I discovered a new favourite drink last year too and it may have to become an Epcot tradition to get one every time we go now. The Grand Marnier slush from the France Pavilion is amazing, such a cooling a refreshing drink in the Florida heat and humidity, be warned though it’s strong stuff. Sometimes you expect theme park drinks to be watered down but that’s not the case with this at all and it really does pack a punch!
Much like we couldn’t resist a photo of the Bubblegum Wall we also couldn’t resist a photo in the front of this beauty, the Galaxy Wall. This isn’t a permanent feature and it’s actually the construction wall for the new Guardians of the Galaxy ride but doesn’t it look amazing?
This trip was also our first time on Soarin’, previously we hadn’t been bothered about it preferring to use our top tier FastPass for Test Track but we managed to grab a FastPast for Soarin’ one evening so decided to give it a go and we loved it!
Sadly last years trip was our final over time seeing IllumiNations, we both loved the firework show and how it wasn’t at all focused on Disney, it provided something different to all the other shows around Disney. I’m not sure how I feel about the new fireworks show, Disney HarmonioUS, as it focuses on Disney music and I feel Epcot is slowly going to become more focused on IP’s but that’s a discussion for another post.
