We took a lot of beautiful photos on our 2018 Florida holiday that are just sat on the computer so I thought I’d share them with you so they can be seen in all their glory and appreciated by everyone! There are a lot of photos so there’s going to be a fair few posts like this, I’m going to aim to do one a week until I’m out of photos to share! I’ll be doing one park at a time and today I’m on the second part of Micky’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Hope you enjoy this series.
I can’t tell you how excited we were when we found out MNSSHP would be starting in August, meaning we’d get to book tickets for it. It was something we’d wanted to do for a long time but we didn’t think we’d get the chance going to Florida in August. We were bursting with excitement when our tickets for the event arrived and it certainly didn’t disappoint. We decided on the night that we wouldn’t watch the whole firework display as we wanted to make the most of the park. We did catch parts of it though and we watched the whole Boo To You parade which was amazing.
As we attended the party in August crowds were still quite large and we did hear a family comment that it was a busy night but we’re used to August crowds and we didn’t find it too bad. We got everything done we wanted to so we certainly had no complaints.
We didn’t dress up for the party but saw plenty of people who did and it’s definitely something we’d like to do in the future. It’s just finding an outfit that you can keep cool in in the high August humidity!
One of the highlights of the night was definitely The Haunted Mansion. It’s our favourite attraction anyway but the PhotoPass oppourtunities available on party night and the live actors made it even more amazing. I’d have happily spent all night to around there!
We absolutely loved Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and it was definitely one of the big highlights of the whole holiday. I can’t wait to do it again when we next go to Florida.
