Here’s how you can spend more time with your partner

If both you and your partner both work very busy jobs then you will know how hard it can be for the two of you to spend time together. This is especially the case when you both work busy schedules, but sparking that romance with one another has never been easier.

Recreate the First Date
It is so important that you are able to remember why you fell in love. For this reason, it is a good idea for you to recreate your first date. You can even pretend that this is your first time going out together if you want, but whatever you do, you have to make it count. Schedule it in the calendar and make sure that you both know to get the time off work. You can even make a reservation at your favourite restaurant. Either way, it doesn’t matter what you do as long as you are able to enjoy this time together. If you are planning a date night, make sure that you turn off your phone and also make sure that you get some champagne in as well to celebrate the occasion.

Have a Night In
If going out on a fancy date is just not an option then why not spend some time together at home? Have a movie date and make something special for dinner. If you have kids you can put them to bed earlier on that day or you can even ask someone to babysit if you want. Instead of opting for the plain boring popcorn that you have all the time, why not invest in some gourmet popcorn? If you have been with your partner for years then you will know exactly what they like so do your best to try and make this happen.
Go on a Day Trip
Day trips are a great way for you to spend time with one another. Why? Because there is no time limit! You can spend as much or as little time out as you need and this is a great way for you to reconnect. Sure, this may not be an option every single week but it is a fantastic way for you to really schedule in some “you” time. When you are booking your day trip, you have to make sure that you book it on a day when you are both free. If you both have busy work schedules then this may be difficult but if you put the effort in then there is no reason why you can’t make this happen. The best thing about this is that it gives you something to look forward to as well.

Get a Hobby
So many people have hobbies but not many couples share the same hobby. Try and find a hobby that you can both enjoy. This can include pottery or you can even take the time to learn about wine together. Either way, when you are able to really enjoy a hobby together, you can grow together and you can also learn more about it as you both expand your skills.
