On Sunday me, Josh, my Dad and stepmum all headed down to Dudley for a little bank holiday getaway. We visited the Black Country Living Museum during the day then as we were staying over we headed out for food and drinks at night. It was the perfect little break away and great to spend time with family.
Josh and I have been to the Black Country Living Museum before when we lived in the West Midlands for uni hence the take 2 in the title. It was three years ago when we visited though and it was a bit strange been back that way after all this time. It was a lot warmer and sunnier the first time Josh and I visited though!
If you’re a bit nerdy like us then the museum is a really good place to visit and great for a day out, there’s plenty to look at and extra things to do like a trip down the mine, a canal boat ride to the limestone mines or seeing a silent movie. Oh yeah and there’s old children’s games out on one of the streets, you can see me above spectacularly failing at the cup and ball!
