Happy List #64

7 July 2012 Comments : 8

Hi!
Another throughly uneventful week, now I’m not at uni I don’t even know what day it is and as much as I’m enjoying the break it does get a little boring and with the terrible weather there’s not much to do! Not to dwell on the boring stuff though, so I will get on with this week’s happy list!
Saturday 30th June 2012
We watched The Reader, it’s one of my favourite films (and books)
Sunday 1st July 2012
Went shopping as a little treat for my uni results
Also… after shopping we went for a milkshake, I had an Oreo one which was so nice
Monday 2nd July 2012
More shopping! Basic H&M skirt and Primark Chelsea Boots
Also… in my defence to another day of shopping, it was money I had left over for shopping and both items were really cheap plus I wanted the skirt for a week’s work experience I have in August. I also finished Fifty Shades Darker, you can read my review here
Tuesday 3rd July 2012
We stayed in and had a game of Monopoly! I lost as usual
Also… the new online magazine I’m writing for, Girl Geek Culture went live today, the lovely Faye from Girl Does Geek set up the magazine and I really think you should all go and have a look at it! You can read my first article here. Also we booked tickets to see Greg Davies (the headteacher from Inbetweeners) in October, we’ve got his first tour on Blu Ray and it makes me laugh so much so I can’t wait for this!
Wednesday 4th July 2012
Mocha cookie crumble frappuccino
Also… I finally found a dress for Josh’s parents wedding (well they’re renewing their vows not getting married!), he’s got a full suit with a waistcoat and the lot so I wanted something quite nice so I don’t look like a scruff next to him! I’ve been looking for one for ages, as I ordered it online it won’t feature until next week’s happy list
Thursday 5th July 2012
Looking at baby clothes for my niece / what I bought for her
Also… I little while back I told you I’d become an Auntie as my niece was born 12 weeks early, I’m so pleased to say that’s she’s doing great and I can’t wait until I go home at the end of the month so I can meet her for the first time, we went shopping and I got a little excited at all the extremely cute baby clothes in Mother Care and had to stop myself from buying everything, in the end I got the cute little outfit that’s in the second photo
Friday 6th July 2012
Yes I do own this and yes we did play it yesterday because in reality I’m 5 years old
