What we got for Christmas 2021

So that’s another Christmas over. I hope you all managed to find a little bit of festive joy this year. I know it’s been another weird Christmas for some people but I truly hope that somewhere throughout this season you still got a little bit of Christmas magic. Today I’m sharing a few of the things we were lucky enough to get for Christmas. I absolutely love these types of posts when other people do them!

I’ll start with the usual disclaimer for this kind of post, I know they’re not everyone’s cup of tea but I personally love them! I’m so nosy that these kinds of posts are right up my street and I don’t see it as bragging or showing off but a nice way to share with other nosy folk what interesting gifts you received! Josh and I are of course extremely grateful for the gifts we received. I also haven’t included every single gift we received from family as that would be a bit excessive especially as we got a lot of little bits. But I will be talking about most of the things we received.

Presents from Josh to me

I was super happy to unwrap the mini Lego Disney castle as I’ve wanted this since it was announced. It’s so cute! It has some lovely little details inside it too, it’s a shame you can’t see them properly when it’s built. I love a good racing game so I was really happy with the Sonic racing. Josh and I have already had a go on this and although I’m not quite sure what I’m doing yet it does have some fun tracks. The penguin bits are an in joke (yeah we’re that kind of couple!) and they certainly got a laugh from me when I opened them.

I collect Stitch Funko Pops so it was nice to have another to add to my collection. There’s so many Stitch pops I regret not getting so it’s always good to add another to the collection. Disney pins had to feature as we both collect them, this time Josh got me a very cute little Tangled set. Tangled is my favourite Disney princess movie. And lastly Christmas just isn’t Christmas without lots of sweets and chocolate is it?!

Presents from me to Josh

Josh’s main present from me this year was the Paul McCartney The Lyrics book. He actually went to see McCartney give a talk about this book a couple of months ago. It’s absolutely huge but as a big fan of McCartney, music and song writing I knew it would be something he’d appreciate! I then got him some Disney pins, I told you they always feature in our gifts to each other! I also managed to get The Haunted Mansion Disney key too. The Haunted Mansion is our favourite Disney attraction and we have a little collection of items from it so that will fit in nicely. I got him so Mandalorian playing cards then the light up gin and light up shortbread from M&S. Lastly I made up a bag of snacks which isn’t pictured here but had chocolate, Percy Pig sweets and other snacky bits in it.

Presents from family

We were both lucky enough to receive some money for Christmas then some other lovely bits from family which included more gin, a cinema night for two voucher, books and we both got a pair of wellies for our upcoming holiday to Center Parcs. We got a big Yankee Candle set and some wax melts which all smell amazing. I got some lovely beauty bits including a Lush set, some perfume and a Charlotte Tilbury lip kit. And of course there were more Disney pins!
