Bridging the gap between comfort and style with jumpsuits

16 June 2020 Comments : 34

AD – this is a paid advertorial but all thoughts are my own.

As lockdown restrictions are gradually easing in the U.K. more of us are finding that we just can’t spend as much time in our loungewer as we’d like. When you’ve spent that past few months in oversized sweats making the switch back to ‘normal’ clothes can feel a little daunting. As more places reopen though and we find ourselves out of the comfort of our own home more, here’s how you can bridge the gap between comfort and style.

We all know joggers and a baggy jumper are super comfortable but they’re not always the best looking items of clothing are they? I don’t know about anyone else but I love to be comfortable so finding something that looks good but still retains that comfort factor is super important for me all the time, not just when I’ve lived in loungewear for a couple of months!

I may have just found the answer though in the form of soft yet stylish jumpsuits from Femme Luxe! They have a great range of jumpsuits that perfectly bridge the gap between loungewear and items of clothing you feel happy to leave the house in. The super soft material means they’re a dream to wear but the on-trend details keep them fresh and stylish.

This black jumpsuit is beyond soft. I love that it can be worn in so many different ways. It looks great on it’s own, with a white t-shirt underneath, with trainers, sandals and heels. It’s so versatile and I’m all about that. It’s a great staple piece to have in your wardrobe and mix and match lots of different outfits with it.

This grey jumpsuit is so different to anything I’d normally pick. Been a short girl I was concerned about the flare, but do you know what I love it? The fact that it’s fitted on top balances out the flared legs and stops it from looking ridiculous on us shorter ladies. Again it’s super soft and I don’t think you can go wrong with a grey outfit either. I love the edition of the belt and the zip up the back too which again stops from feeling too much like loungewear.

What do you think to these jumpsuits? What are you favourite items of clothing that bridge the gap between comfort and style? Let me know in the comments.

That black jumpsuit is absolutely gorgeous. Perfect for the office, in fact most occasions.

You could really jazz it up too.

I’m in work and wearing normal clothes sucks!

I love these jumpsuits, they look fantastic – comfort is always a huge bonus!!

I’m prone to endo belly/severe bloating so I wear a lot of maternity clothes to bridge that gap otherwise I’d be permanently living in joggers and oversized tees haha.

Love both this outfits!!! The black one is my favourite. I usually wear a simple pair of jeans with a T-shirt and comfortable shoes, I’m not so much into fashion, I’d like to keep my style simple

I find jumpsuits so hard to wear because I always thought they weren’t going to be flattering on me. Thanks for the tips!

I absolutely love both of those jumpsuits!
I’ve been looking to increase my style. My looks are generally a plain shirt and a pair of yoga pants. Your post makes me think that I can still have comfort and look cute!
    Thank you for the inspiration
