One of the big things on my home to do list is to sort out our bathroom, it’s not a large bathroom but as with any house related thing, it’s not cheap either! Our current bathroom is very cheap and outdated and seriously in need of a makeover.

After tackling a kitchen renovation at the end of last year I’m currently doing a few smaller projects around the house, the next big thing on my list though is the bathroom because I hate it.
I love long baths, it’s my ultimate form of relaxation after a day at work so I need my bathroom space to be light, airy and relaxing. I love the idea of adding a bit of greenery into bathroom spaces but I never seem to be good at looking after plants! With a small bathroom, it’s going to be important to not make it look cluttered so smaller accessories are definitely going to be a must. Storage is a real problem with having a small bathroom too, so when the time comes I’ll definitely be looking into ways to tackle this issue.
I have a Pinterest board full of inspiration ready and waiting for when we finally take on the bathroom. However I think it’s good to have a look around showrooms too, like Multiliving, to get an idea of how different styles and shapes of bathrooms can be styled. It’s always great to get a second opinion on interiors and if that opinion happens to be a professional one then it’s definitely worth listening to! If you are looking at revamping your bathroom then you can also get ideas from one of the best bathroom showrooms in Harrogate here.
I really do want to start from scratch with the bathroom and will be looking into tiling the whole room. I love the idea of a monochrome bathroom with some greenery so that will very much be my vision. I also really want a rainfall shower, although I’m definitely a bath girl I do have a soft spot for rainfall showers so although it’s going to be a more expensive purchase I do think it’s one of my non-negotiables!
I’m very much looking forwards to the day where I have a beautiful bathroom to relax in.
