With an abundance of survey sites out there that seem like a great way to make a bit of extra money it can be hard to find one that won’t take up all your time but still pays out. After seeing some mention OnePoll on Twitter saying they’d had a pay out I decided to check it out. I’ve signed up to a few survey sites in the past only to leave them after a little while mainly due to the length of the surveys, not qualifying for surveys are most annoyingly completing half the survey to be told you don’t qualify. So is OnePoll any different?
What is OnePoll?
In a nutshell it’s a market research company that uses surveys mostly for big brands. Users are rewarded for completing surveys, rewards range from 10p-30p per survey. There’s an app for your phone meaning surveys can be completed on your mobile unlike some sites that require you to use a laptop/desktop to complete surveys. The surveys are usually only 1-3 minutes long and if you don’t qualify you’re told within the first couple of question.
So why is it different?
As I’ve already outlined, OnePoll surveys can be completed on your phone which makes them so quick and easy to do, I’ve completed some over my lunch break before as it’s super quick. Cash out is at £30 which seems quite high considering the low payment for surveys but it is definitely achievable. They also have a referral scheme which can boost your earnings however you only get 15 referrals and if you send one and they don’t use it, it’s a wasted referral. I like that the surveys are super short so it doesn’t feel like you’re taking a lot of time out of your day to complete them and it doesn’t feel like a waste of time if you don’t qualify. The referral scheme is good but I don’t like that it’s a wasted referral if someone doesn’t use your code.
Does it actually make you money?
Yes but don’t expect this to be a get rich quick scheme, I don’t think any survey sites are the answer to making big bucks quickly but this is certainly the best I’ve found in terms of survey length and ability to build up rewards. I joined OnePoll just over 3 weeks ago and I currently have £9.55 in earnings on my account which I don’t think is too bad. Considering that the surveys are so quick, I’m certainly not going to say no to an extra £30 every 2-3 months! If you go in with the right mindset rather than expecting to earn lots of money then I don’t think you’ll be disappointed at all.
Is it safe?
Yes it’s perfectly safe. OnePoll has been recommended and mentioned by the Money Saving Expert numerous times. When you reach the payment threshold then you can choose to be paid via BACS or PayPal so if you are still a bit unsure choose the PayPal option but OnePoll is a legitimate site that does pay it’s users so I wouldn’t worry!
In all if you can spare a couple of minutes every few days and you want to make a bit of extra money every few months then I wouldn’t hestitate signing up to OnePoll!
