Can you believe this is the last Happy List I’ll be publishing in 2021 as December’s edition will be in the new year! I can’t believe we’re finally in December, the absolute best month of the year. I’m so excited. November turned out to be a really great month even though a few plans had to be cancelled due to the crazy snow we ended up getting.
1. Christmas definitely started creeping in during November which made me very happy. Some new Christmas additions were made in the form of a cute Stitch bauble, two Christmas wax melt burners and an amazing llama Christmas jumper. I was ready for a new Christmas jumper as all mine are quite old now and I couldn’t pass up on one with llama’s on it!
2. We also got in the Christmas spirit with a few festive outings towards the end of the month. We went to our local lights switch on which was really good. We also headed to Nottingham Christmas market which was not so good, it was a little disappointing as we were expecting it to be really good and it honestly wasn’t that great. It was nice to be back doing Christmassy things though after we couldn’t do anything last year.
3. In November we also had another super fun day out when we had a gaming afternoon tea in Sheffield. We played a mix of modern and retro games and had the most delicious afternoon tea I’ve ever had. We went to Extra Life Gaming Lounge in Sheffield and I highly recommend it! It was such a fun and different day out.
4. November produced some stunning sunsets and I’m an absolute sucker for a beautiful sunset. A couple I’ve managed to capture just as I’ve been leaving work and there’s been something a little bit magical about it.
5. I had an evening with my nephew which was really nice. We watched a lot of Paw Patrol, took silly Snapchat photos and read The Very Hungry Caterpillar before he crashed into bed worn out. It was very lovely.
And that just about wraps up November. A quiet month to start with but certainly getting a lot more festive towards the end.
We’re into my favourite month now and I’m just so excited for all things Christmas. This also wraps up another year of Happy Lists as December’s round-up will be published in January 2022! Crazy! I truly love writing these Happy Lists and I hope you enjoy reading them too.

Glad you had a lovely November! I really enjoyed November too – we did a few festive things and the decorations went up, too. I had a few things cancelled too but because everyone was ill at one point!

The gaming afternoon is a permanent thing. It’s a little cafe entirely for that purpose! Oh it’s a shame that Christmas lights switch on’s aren’t big where you are, they’re great for getting into the Christmas spirit.
