OK what a month May turned out to be. Is it just me or did May feel like a really long month? Another month in lockdown, utter confusion and the news I’m heading back to work full time. Oh and a postponed wedding. But despite all that things have stayed pretty positive!

So yeah after two Happy Lists of saying I had no idea what was happening with the wedding, we decided to postpone. I wrote all about why we postponed over on my wedding blog. May was a pretty good month of the whole though as luckily things went smoothly with postponing and the weather has been great again!
- Again in May I spent plenty of time in the garden. You know it’s my favourite place to be with a book in one hand and a drink in the other. And boy have the drinks been flowing. How will I cut down on my cocktail intake when I’m back in work at the start of June?!
- I’ve already mentioned that we decided to postpone the wedding and it might seem like an odd choice to include it on my Happy List but as sad as I am that the wedding will no longer be happening this year, I’ve actually found quite a lot of positives from postponing. I love the look of our new date too – 21.08.21. I feel like a weight has been lifted and that I can finally enjoy the run up to the wedding again.
- As if I didn’t have enough on my plate with my job, this blog and my wedding blog I decided to start a third blog. Is blogging addiction a thing?! The third blog links with the youtube I have with my fiancé, Josh. It’s just for fun really, I wanted a place to talk all things Disney! Speaking of blogging. Having this extra time to work on this blog during lockdown has really given me the drive to make this and my wedding blog the very best it can be. I really want to up how much I earn from blogging and even though I’m going back to work I’ve got the drive to make this work.
- Josh has been working really hard on his art this month and it’s been a pleasure to see his passion for drawing come back. He’s so amazingly talented. I just love everything he does. He’s hopefully going to be selling some of his prints soon too.
- The wonderful Six Stories Bridal gave away a huge amount of their bridey tees to postponed brides and I was lucky enough to grab one! It’s so soft and I’ve been living in it since it arrived. I’m still a bridey even though I now have another 14 months to wait until the wedding.
So that was May. Aside from having to postpone the wedding, it was a lovely month overall. I can’t say as I’m feeling too excited about June at the moment, the prospect of going back to work and having less time to blog doesn’t feel great but we’ll see what the month brings.

I am so very sorry that you’ve had to postpone your wedding, we are holding hope for our December wedding, although I suspect Social distancing will impact on it some what. I want to postpone but my partner feels we should hold off for a little while. I’d just rather enjoy the build up rather than worrying all the time.
I love your tshirt though. I hope June is a wonderful month for you and that returning to work is successful. I am back next week as well for 3 days a week and I’ll continue to work from home the other 2 days.
Take care x x
