Times are pretty weird at the minute, that has to be said. We’re going through a time like we have never been through before in our lives, and to say it’s shaking things up is an understatement. Having to get used to the two meter distance, queueing to go in and do the weekly shop, finding reasons to get outside and go for a walk. All things that we never used to have to do, that we’ve had to quickly get used to. The more time we spend in lockdown the more we realise how precious life is. Pretty much everyone has got a new found respect for life and everything that can be done with it. But I know that because we’re so far into this lockdown, with it only being eased slightly, that some of you might be going out of your minds. If so, the following tips I have to keep your spirits flying high should help. Keep on reading to find out more.

House party fun
There’s no reason why because we’re in this lockdown that you can’t find ways to have a little party in your home. In fact, during times like this we think a bit of a party would be quite welcome. There are so many apps you can download where members of your family and friends can join a video call. You might have done it already to play some quizzes or just to have a general catch up. However, this is to take it up to the next level of fun. All you need to do is get some music, perhaps the best taylor swift albums, or whatever music it is that you might like, get some drinks flowing, and play some house party games. If everyone joins in this could provide endless hours of fun that some of you might feel you’ve not been able to have up until now.
Outdoor adventures
We finally have the freedom to go outside more!! The world has stopped for so long, and outdoor adventures have been kept to a minimum. However, now we can happily go out and meet one other person at a time we think everyone should be. It’s so refreshing to be able to get out for a walk, but to do it with people you may have not seen for so long is even better. Plus, the weather has been beautiful lately for it, and it’s only meant to get better. It’ll do your mental health the world of good to do it.
Have your kids gone wild?!
If you’re a mum during this lockdown, then chances are your children will have gone wild. Mums with young children have had to deal with keeping their kids entertained throughout all of this, and that might be wearing thin at the minute. If your kids have gone wild, utilise the chance of being able to go outside a bit more and wear them out. Physical exercise is the best way to keep your kids entertained.
How are you keeping your spirits up during the lockdown? Let me know in the comments.
