We took a lot of beautiful photos on our 2018 Florida holiday that are just sat on the computer so I thought I’d share them with you so they can be seen in all their glory and appreciated by everyone! There are a lot of photos so there’s going to be a fair few posts like this, I’m going to aim to do one a week until I’m out of photos to share! I’ll be doing one park at a time and today I’m on the first part of Micky’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Hope you enjoy this series.
I can’t tell you how excited we were when we found out MNSSHP would be starting in August, meaning we’d get to book tickets for it. It was something we’d wanted to do for a long time but we didn’t think we’d get the chance going to Florida in August. We were bursting with excitement when our tickets for the event arrived and it certainly didn’t disappoint.
Unfortunately there was huge storm on the day we were booked to go to MNNSHP so we didn’t make it to the park quite as early as I would have liked. By the time we got there though the rain was pretty much stopping meaning we could fully enjoy our night.
We still managed to cram a lot in though and visited lots of treat trails as well as picking up some Halloween Minnie ears and a couple of party night exclusive pins.
Although it was still quite busy as it was in August, we weren’t waiting too long for any of the rides we went on and the treat trail queues moved really quick. We did make the decision not to do any of the party exclusive character meets though as the lines for those just get absolutely crazy. You can quite easily waste half of your night just queuing for one character meet no matter what time of year you visit.
Some of the rides had special overlays for the party and we really enjoyed those. Space Mountain in complete darkness and Pirates of the Caribbean with live actors were absolutely amazing.
We absolutely loved MNSSHP and we’d definitely do it again (and hopefully make it to the park a little earlier this time!). It was one of the best moments of our holiday. There’ll be a second post from MNSSHP next week.
