Book Review: Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them Original Screenplay

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them Original Screenplay by J.K.Rowling
When Magizoologist Newt Scamander arrives in New York, he intends his
stay to be just a brief stopover. However, when his magical case is
misplaced and some of Newt’s fantastic beasts escape, it spells trouble
for everyone . . .
Inspired by the original Hogwart’s textbook by Newt Scamander, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them: The Original screenplay
marks the screenwriting debut of J.K. Rowling, author of the beloved
and internationally bestselling Harry Potter books. A feat of
imagination and featuring a cast of remarkable characters and magical
creatures, this is epic adventure-packed storytelling at its very best.
Whether an existing fan or new to the wizarding world, this is a perfect
addition for any film lover or reader’s bookshelf.
It’s no secret I’m a huge Harry Potter fan, I have pretty much every book to do with the magical world sitting on my bookshelf. I’ve had the Fantastic Beasts book for years so when I heard it was being made into a series of films I did a little squeal of excitement. After seeing the film and loving it I knew I’d have to add this screenplay to my wizarding world collection of books. I mean just the cover alone sold it to me.

I wasn’t sure how I’d actually get along with reading a screenplay but in all honesty I loved it, for anyone who hasn’t read a screenplay before, like me, I found that this one flowed really easy and it took no time at all to get into it and read it as if it was just a normal story. It wonderfully brought the film back to life and is a beautiful edition to my collection. Highly recommended.
