Adopted when just a few months old, she’s always felt she was someone

Flitting between the present and the
past, we discover how Darren and Holly’s lives become intertwined. Will
Holly uncover the secrets of her past? Or will she always feel like the
girl who just appeared?
I’ll be honest, the blurb for this book didn’t particularly draw me in but I’m so glad I decided to give it a go anyway. First off I love that the book is set in Liverpool as regular readers of this blog will know I just adore the place and secondly I just loved all the characters, there’s such a great mix of interesting people.
The thing I loved most of all about this book was discovering how Holly and Darren’s lives were connected. Trying to guess what was going to happen made it very difficult for me to put this book down.
Whilst it is all a little far fetched, I very much enjoyed the jaunt along with this book and loved that I was constantly kept guessing. It’s not really like any other book I’ve read which also wins it more points. In all I think this would be a good book for the summer months and it’s fairly quick and easy to get through but very enjoyable.
