I’m still in awe with the way you can turn your hand to pretty much anything, how you’re not afraid to give it a go. The way you can sit and play piano and guitar with such ease and learn a song just by listening to it. The way you transform a piece of blank paper into a detailed piece of art. And your excellent writing will always have me pushing you to use your talents. I’ll always be proud of what you create. You inspire me on a daily basis, you always have.
I’m forever grateful that I met you so early on in life which has allowed me to share growing up with you, going from a teenager to an adult. The memories we’ve made so far amaze me and get me excited for all the ones yet to come. I’m excited for our next chapter as newly weds but in the mean time I’m going to just enjoy being engaged, because no I’m still not over the fact you proposed!
Being by your side makes me feel content and happy and I knew from the moment I met you that I wanted to build a life with you. To share a home and a little fur family with you, I feel like the luckiest girl in the world to have those things! You’re my complete opposite but it works, you teach me to chill out but I spur you on when it’s needed. Your calm and collected whilst I’m fiery and emotion driven and most of the time we find the happy middle ground to any situation we’re in. You’re creative whilst I’m academic and bookish, which makes for one hell of mixture when we’re being super nerdy (which is often!). Our personalities may be completely different but I love that we enjoy all the same things, getting to share my passions with you is just the best. I love how laugh at me for having a conversation with our cats, but don’t think I don’t hear you doing the same thing when you go to feed them on a night!
Basically I just want you to know that you’re the best and I hope you know that I’l always be by your side no matter what. Thank you for being you, for providing me with unwavering support and love for the past 11 years.
