5 work from home outfits you need to buy

Many of us are now in the position where we have to work from home. Whilst the U.K. and many other European countries have gone into lockdown, many people have found themselves in a position they haven't been in before and are now working from the comfort and safety of their own homes. With this, many brands have seriously stepped up their loungewear offerings to provide cute and comfortable sets to see us through this situation. Here are 5 of my favourite work from home outfit offerings.

Work from home staples

A cute and comfy co-ord is the simplest thing you could buy and throw on. Boohoo and Missguided are leading the way when it comes to the amount of loungewear sets they have. The two above are from Boohoo and and love how they look. The pink one is a knitted set too so I imagine it's very cosy and comfortable which is exactly what I look for in loungewear.

The jumper dress would be perfect for throwing on with a pair of leggings. It comes in lots of different colours too so you could buy a couple of the same dress to see you through working from home.

A big oversized cardigan is the perfect cover up and this one looks just like a dressing gown. Perfect! Some oversized knitwear pieces are perfect to have in your wardrobe so you can just throw them on if you start to feel a bit cool.

For the ultimate in oversized comfort the final co-ord set on my list definitely gives you room for all the self isolating snack sessions.

When it comes to buying some new loungewear for your time working from home you need things that a comfortable and non-restrictive. Soft materials and floaty fabrics are the best. No one wants to be sat at home feeling uncomfortable. Embrace this time where you can work in ultimate comfort!

Where to shop

In light of the current situation pretty much every store you can think of has upped their game when it comes to loungewear. Many places such as Boohoo and Missguided have a work from home edit making it even easier to find something new. At the time of writing shopping online is still completely fine and none of the companies mentioned are effected by what's going on so your orders will still be processed as normal. What I will say though is a lot of places offer buy now and pay later/pay in instalments schemes such as Klarna. It's never a good idea to get into schemes like this at any time. I strongly discourage using things like this for purchasing what is just fast fashion. I think it's completely irresponsible for these things to be available when a lot of people are facing financial insecurity. Please only shop if you can afford to pay for things straight away.

What are you work from home outfits like? Do you make an effort or do you stay in your pjs all day? Let me know in the comments.
